Lookbook

Hey, everyone! So I finally went out and bought myself a new laptop! ^^ I've had my Vaio for about a decade now, and I can't believe it still works somewhat. It's just so slow that I barely ever used it. So now blogging will be much easier! :3

I recently started a Lookbook. If you have time, please check it out and maybe fan me if you have one! ^^ For my very first Lookbook post, I asked my uncle and aunt of John and Cay Photography to do a photoshoot with me, and I really liked how the photos turned out! ♥

Meeting Monica in Japan

So here I am after 10 weeks of internship... With no new blog posts since the beginning of the summer. xD I know I said I'd blog more because I wouldn't have homework or any studying to do, but by the time I'd get home from the lab, I'd be too tired to do anything! U__U

So today I'll be going back in time... All the way to January when Take-chan and I met up with Monica Ai in Shibuya! xD It was a short meet-up, but I had lots of fun! We had lunch, visited an arcade, and took tons of purikura. ♥ She even gave me a gift of yummy Japanese snacks! I was so touched. Thank you, Monica! T__T

She looks so gorgeous both in photos and in person! *__* ♥

We ate at a pasta place and this is what I ordered. So yummy!

Saw the cutest Pikachu plushie at an arcade. I wanted him so much, but I'm not very good at arcade games. D:

Getting crepes. ♥

A big thank you to my Take-chan for helping me take photos! ^__^ ♥

Lastly, here are some of the purikura we took. Stole these from Monica! ♥

There were so many cute purikura designs! Way better than the old machines we have in LA.

And the craziest part is that we somehow color coordinated! I swear it wasn't planned! xD

And of course, me and my awesome photographer! xD Thanks again to Monica for sending me the digital copies of all the purikura!

Too bad our time was cut short... D: We both had very busy schedules, but I'm glad we could meet up even for just a little while. Hopefully I can visit her in Hawaii or see her here in LA! ^__^ She is such a sweet person and super easy to to talk to. I hope we can hang out again soon! ♥

Sponsored Review - Geo Love WT-A02 Circle Lenses in Blue

I meant to post this before I left for Vegas last week, but I ended up packing super last minute! U__U So without further ado, here is my way overdue review! xD These lenses were sponsored by Shoppingholics. ♥ I decided to go with something different this time, so I chose a less popular style of lenses in a color I've never worn.

Geo Love WT-A02 Circle Lenses in Blue
Diameter: 15mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal

Like last time, the lenses came in a cute little box with a really cute animal case!

Out of all the circle lenses I've worn, this color is probably the most vibrant. I was really curious to see how it would look like on me! xD

Close-up in natural lighting. So pretty! They kinda look like crystals. :3

They really make your eyes pop. *__*

I love how these lenses look in natural lighting. ♥

And here's a close-up with flash. It's super blue! ... Maybe too much.

I think they make me look pretty scary... U__U

With flash again.

Ratings
Color & Style: ★★★★☆
Comfort: ★★★★★
Enlarging Effect: ★★★★★

These lenses are a really gorgeous and vibrant shade of blue! Personally it's too much for me, but these are perfect for your more dramatic looks and cosplaying! I really wish I had these when I was Hatsune Miku at AX 2011. xD Since I don't wear dramatic make-up too often, I probably won't wear these that much. They're still really pretty, though! And another awesome thing is how extremely comfortable they are! I honestly think that they're the most comfortable lenses I've ever worn. ^__^

Another thing I love about Geo lenses that I always have to mention is the ability to check their authenticity on the official website. It's really easy to do! You just have to scratch off the "anti-fake" sticker on each individual lens bottle, and input that number into their forgery checking system.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my review, and thanks again to Shoppingholics for sponsoring me! ^__^

Bonus! Here's my coordinate for that day. I watched Harry Potter with Take-chan, so I wore my shirt that says "Keep calm and join Dumbledore's army." xD

Sponsored Review - Trinity Styles Online Store

Trinity Styles was very kind to offer me a clothing item of my choice to review! And thanks to my awesome boyfriend Take-chan, I was able to have a little photoshoot with it. ^__^

Bow scoop neck top & tank top: Trinity Styles
Hat: Wal-Mart
Boots: Steve Madden

Light make-up today! ^__^

Here's a little background information from their website:

Trinity is an online store originally based on Facebook. Established in 2008, we are one of the largest online stores in B.C. on Facebook. To expand our business, we have begun to move onto a fully functional shopping cart to meet the needs of more customers online.

At Trinity, we strive to provide you with quality products at the most attractive prices. Our products are all unique in nature, and you won't have to worry about looking just like everyone else when you're at the mall.

We are located in Richmond, British Columbia and ship worldwide (with some exclusions).

All product photos are actual photos either shot by us or provided by the company. The worry of receiving something that looks completely different is eliminated when you are shopping here with us.

As stated on their website, the clothes you receive look exactly like the ones in their photos! I just love how this gray top drapes in the front while also creating a slight bow effect. It's quite unique!

A sheer slip is included in this set, and when worn with the gray top, it looks like you're wearing both a tank top and a skirt when it's actually just one piece! Talk about nifty. xD The fabric is also very comfortable and light, which is perfect for those upcoming hot summer days. ♥

The tag's really cute too! :3

Close-up of the bow detail. The small white beads that are sewn in give it an extra little flare!

Gorgeous chiffon floral print to contrast the plain gray on top.

This two piece set (free size) was a little bit big on me compared to the model on their website, but overall, I still think that it looks really cute! Even though it's more on the simple side for me, it's a great outfit for going to school or out shopping. And their shipping was really fast! It took about a week for my package to arrive, and I was very pleased with the condition it arrived in. I was actually in the process of moving to a new place at the time they first contacted me, so this post is quite overdue. ^__^;

I would certainly recommend ordering from Trinity Styles! You can also find them on Facebook. Although their selection isn't too broad at the moment, they do have some really cute items! Another plus is that their prices are reasonable, and they've even marked down some items. So be sure to pay them a visit! (´▽`)

Visiting Take-chan

Whenever I spend the day with my Take-chan, I always like to dress up for him! :3 Last Saturday, we tried a new ramen place that had soft boiled eggs just like in Japan, and it was so delicious! ♥ We also did other random things like shopping around Ikea and watching Disney's Beauty and the Beast while eating sukiyaki. (´▽`) Pretty casual stuff, but we always have so much fun! So here's what I wore that day:

Hat: Wal-Mart
Crop top: One Way
Black tank top: One Way
Shorts: Abercrombie & Fitch
Fake fox tail: Chiara
Boots: R&E

Straight hair for today. ^__^

Diamond Gals in LA

Last Saturday, I met up with my Diamond Gals for a top secret appointment. xD Even though it was tiring to walk all over Los Angeles in heels, we had a lot of fun! I really love spending time with them. ♥ So for now I'll leave you with some photos! This is what I wore:

Some of the new Liz Lisa stuff I brought back from Japan! (´▽`)
Hat: ANAP
Top: Liz Lisa
Skirt: Liz Lisa
Boots: Liz Lisa

I miss wearing these Dolly Wink bottom lashes! I've been kinda lazy lately and have been resorting to Dolly Wink #5 because everything is on one strip and easy to apply. xD

All of the Diamond Gals together! From left to right: Val, Michi, me, Dolly, and Mie! ♥

Mandie was also there as our special guest! Sadly, this is the only photo I have with her. T__T

Me and Dolly! I have no idea why we're bending since we're both shorties... xD

Val and Michi are hot and sexy as usual... ♥

Dolly again and Mie lookin' fierce! :3

If Diamond had a hand sign, this would be it! xD

And last but not least, what I ate for lunch: Udon and vegetable tempura with brown rice. Yay for healthy food! ^__^

Stay tuned for more posts about my trip to Japan and details about my upcoming giveaway! I really want to thank everyone who's been reading and commenting on my blog. ♥

Presents From Emy

I thought I'd take a break from blogging about my Japan trip and catch up with what's been going on since I returned to California. Almost two weeks ago, I met up with my good friend Emy to hang out and go shopping. ♥ She helped me pick out some cool stuff from ANAP for my upcoming giveaway! More details about that later. ^__^ So while Emy and I sat down to eat at Curry House, we finally exchanged Christmas presents with each other. xD She got me a super cute Liz Lisa top, Dolly Wink bottom lashes, and a pink kamipita! Thank you so much, Emy! (´▽`) If you want to see what I got her from Japan, check our her blog entry. So here was my outfit that day:

Tank top: One Way
Shorts: Abercrombie & Fitch
Fake fox tail: Ank Rouge
Legwarmers: Golds Infinity

At Curry House with Emy! I had chicken katsu, and she had ebi fry. ♥

The following week, I wore the top she gave me to hang out with Take-chan. It also has really cute bows on the back! ^__^

Boots: Zara

I recently started wearing my new Candy Brown lenses from Pinky Paradise, and I absolutely love them! ♥

It's always good to have extras of these lashes. xD
