Bubble Punch Fashion Show at Japan Endless Discovery

Another super old post coming up! xD Today's entry is about Bubble Punch's fashion show at the Japan Endless Discovery event. This took place all the way back in early March at the Grove. ^__^; The fashion show featured all different kinds of Japanese street styles, and I was part of the gyaru section. It was a really fun experience! It was my first fashion show in a while. Plus I met a lot of new people that day! ♥

Curly hair everywhere! xD With Cyril of Dolldelight and three of her gorgeous models: Anz, Haylee, and Ane!

Cindy was a model for the Sanrio fashion show. ♥

Gorgeous mori girls! :3

Our amazing fashion show coordinators: True Mee and Michelle of Bubble Punch!

I absolutely loved the pastel colors these ladies were wearing! They look so cute together. ♥ Not sure who the person is on the far left, but the others are: Angela, Sami, and Oli!

Marie Amy, Tina, and Paloma looking gorgeous in black! And then there's me trying to fit in. :P

Ari always looks so amazing!!! *__* ♥

As usual, Julie looked insanely adorable. Gotta love the overload of pink! xD ♥

That's it for now. Next post will be about a much more recent gyaru meet-up!

Meeting Monica in Japan

So here I am after 10 weeks of internship... With no new blog posts since the beginning of the summer. xD I know I said I'd blog more because I wouldn't have homework or any studying to do, but by the time I'd get home from the lab, I'd be too tired to do anything! U__U

So today I'll be going back in time... All the way to January when Take-chan and I met up with Monica Ai in Shibuya! xD It was a short meet-up, but I had lots of fun! We had lunch, visited an arcade, and took tons of purikura. ♥ She even gave me a gift of yummy Japanese snacks! I was so touched. Thank you, Monica! T__T

She looks so gorgeous both in photos and in person! *__* ♥

We ate at a pasta place and this is what I ordered. So yummy!

Saw the cutest Pikachu plushie at an arcade. I wanted him so much, but I'm not very good at arcade games. D:

Getting crepes. ♥

A big thank you to my Take-chan for helping me take photos! ^__^ ♥

Lastly, here are some of the purikura we took. Stole these from Monica! ♥

There were so many cute purikura designs! Way better than the old machines we have in LA.

And the craziest part is that we somehow color coordinated! I swear it wasn't planned! xD

And of course, me and my awesome photographer! xD Thanks again to Monica for sending me the digital copies of all the purikura!

Too bad our time was cut short... D: We both had very busy schedules, but I'm glad we could meet up even for just a little while. Hopefully I can visit her in Hawaii or see her here in LA! ^__^ She is such a sweet person and super easy to to talk to. I hope we can hang out again soon! ♥

Tokyo Disney Sea

Hello, everyone! I fell off the face of the earth for about 4 months, but now I'm back! Or at least trying to be. It's the same story up until now. School has taken over my life. I'm just trying to finish everything so I can finally start working as a lab technician. I'll still be busy this entire summer with two internships, but at least I won't have any homework or tests to study for. That means more blogging! ... Hopefully. U__U

Oh, and if you haven't already noticed, I changed my Blogger account (and just about everything else) to a more easy-to-remember name:

triciaisabela.blogspot.com

I've had the other username for so long, and I just felt like I needed a change. But anywho, I gotta backtrack all the way to the beginning of this year and get all caught up with my posts!

So let's move on to the fun stuff: Tokyo Disney Sea photos! It's amazing how much cuter the Disney merchandise is in Japan. The Minnie Mouse ears are either frilly, sparkly, or both! xD I wanted to buy everything, but sadly I had to pick and choose.

Gorgeous display just inside the entrance to commemorate their 10th anniversary.

One thing I disliked about Disney Sea: the incredibly long lines! U__U Take-chan and I got in line for Journey to the Center of the Earth, and after waiting for an hour and a half, we didn't even get halfway through! So we ended up leaving the line and getting fast passes instead.

Our awesome lunch. How did they do that to the egg yolk?!

The cutest dessert ever. ♥

Outside of Indiana Jones. Didn't get to ride it because why? The line was too long again! U__U So we ended up just walking around the whole time.

Two girls with tons of cute plush keychains adorning their backpacks!

And then we went "under the sea" to Ariel's cove.

Kiddy rides galore! It was nice and warm inside too. ♥

And then we were FINALLY able to get on this damn ride. Really fun, just super short.

After that, we were ready to go home. It was getting really cold and we already bought all the merchandise we wanted. xD Stay tuned for the next post: Celebrating New Year's in Japan!

Shibuya 109... We Meet Again

The day after arriving in Japan, I was already headed for 109. And it's a good thing Take-chan told me to bring a fraction of my money, otherwise I would've spent most of it in one day! It's just so easy to spend in there... T__T

On the way to the train station.

It was still a few days before New Year's, so 109 wasn't that crowded yet. There were already some great sales going on!

With one of the shop staff from Rose Fan Fan. She was such a sweetheart! :3 I was eyeing her coat, but I figured I should browse other shops first. Rose Fan Fan has a really great variety of clothing, and the best part is that their prices are very reasonable.

Went to Liz Lisa of course, and Nan-chan was still working there! ♥ I was so touched that she still remembered me after a year. T__T I didn't even realize it until later, but the outfit I chose to purchase was the exact same one she was wearing... Just like the last time I was there! xD

So after looking around the shops for a while, Frank and I left early so we could go home and get some rest for the next day: Tokyo Disney Sea! :D

Akihabara Winter Wonderland

I sure have a lot of catching up to do on my blog! I'm also back from Japan, which was a lot of fun! ^__^ I regret not taking more photos, though. It was such a relaxing trip that I was often too lazy to bring out my camera. Did a lot of eating and shopping, though! ♥ I was barely able to fit everything in my luggage. But anywho, more talk about that later...

I gotta backtrack to last month! When the semester ended, I was finally able to attend an event after so long. T__T The event was Tune in Tokyo's Akihabara Winter Wonderland, which was a cosplay-themed Christmas party. There were a lot of great costumes that night! Again, I should've taken more photos... Gotta stop doing that before it turns into a habit. D:

Elly, owner of Shibuyala looked adorable in her pink wig and outfit!

Michelle of Chubby Bunny was also a vendor that night. With me and Marie. ♥

Christmas Miku!!! ^__^ ♥

Next post will be about Japan! Most likely tomorrow because right now I'm itching to finally play Skyrim. xD
